UCL HOSPITAL

In mid-2017, Bright Futures UK became a partner of University College London Hospital. The partnership was established to support both inpatients and outpatients with various needs – focusing on keeping up with school work and transitioning from illness  to ‘normality’.

We run weekly workshops in T12 North and South, along with individual programmes for patients who use T12, T13 and the McMillan Centre.

Bright Futures UK also runs life skills days for both inpatients and outpatients who are with UCLH. We run sessions such as CV writing/Career advice/nutrition talks/personal care. The days are supported by UCLH staff and Clinical Nurse Specialists.

The external and internal services offered are very important in giving young people a smooth transition out of illness and the confidence to tackle the challenges they face.
